Welcome to Birgit’s Bakery, a Viennese micro-baking school in the middle of the Cambridgeshire country side.
Since 2013 I have been teaching baking – sweet, sour, squishy, wobbly and crusty to all ages. My courses are there to teach you what you signed up for not just to entertain you. My aim is that you are using the skills and knowledge gained on the course to perfect them further in your own time.
We learn through the ingredients how the dough will turn out and learning from our mistakes. I want you to understand the principles of baking.
We are going to have lots of fun discovering the versatility of mixing, kneading and shaping.
