Birgit’s Patisserie/Bakery is based in a picturesque, small village tucked away between Cambridge and Huntingdon.
There is a variety of baking courses, baking related experiences, sweet and savoury, to teach and encourage you to do the same in your home kitchen.Our day baking classes are focused on real bread baking. To achieve good bread you need time, knowledge and lots of practise. I will help you with the science, tools, tricks and tips to get you started.
As you can gather I am very keen on teaching to bake your own bread. There are 3 levels to suit your ability and interest plus more specific and regional bread baking.Cake, pastry and sweet dough baking is more specific in what we bake and for what occasion.
Most of the time you will find me in the kitchen between my ovens and work surface and hopefully I will see you there too.

Booking and Cancellation Policy
Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis and full payment is required when you sign up. The classes are non-refundable. If you can’t make it to a class, please let us know straight away. We will do our best to find a replacement, and if we do, we will transfer your booking to another class or date. Alternatively you are more than welcome to send a friend in your place.
If a class is cancelled, we will call you as soon as possible to let you know. A refund for the course will then be issued.
There needs to be a minimum of 2 people for a baking class.
