Proper pastry making can be complicated and a hurdle for many ambitious home cooks but it does not have to be. In fact it is really easy – just give it a go!
We will be learning how to make a rough puff pastry which is quicker than the classic puff but with nearly achieving the same result. We will use it for a savory filling depending on the season.
Then we tackle a sweet pastry version called pâte sablée to make seasonal delights like lemon tart, cheese cake or mince pies.
